Assistance completing your NDIS application
Navigating the NDIS application process can be overwhelming. At Costello, we understand the challenges and offer our Free Access Support service to assist you every step of the way.
What does this look like for you?
Our team will help you access, download, and print all necessary forms. We provide clear explanations of each form and guide you through filling out the required sections. We provide information on whether your condition is covered under NDIS and link you to the NDIS website for further details. When a GP or specialist is needed for certain sections within the paperwork, we assist in ensuring the forms are completed accurately. This could include attending the doctors' appointments to ensure we are using everyone’s time efficiently and try and make the process as streamline as possible. We review all documentation for NDIS, assist the GP in using the correct wording, and submit the forms on your behalf. Additionally, we track the response from NDIS and help gather any additional supporting evidence if required.
Once your plan is approved, we will assist you in utilising it effectively, whether you choose to work with us or need help finding a new support coordinator. We will clarify your eligibility and guide you on how to maximise the benefits of your plan. Additionally, we offer insights and tips on meeting NDIS requirements to ensure you get the most out of your plan and receive the correct support for your needs and goals.
At Costello, our extensive experience in supporting families and participants in the NDIS has equipped us with the knowledge to guide you through this process. We understand that the application process can be time-consuming, but we are committed to ensuring all documentation is thorough to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

FAQs
How long does the initial process take?
From the initial meeting with the team, you will be required to fill out all documentation & visit your GP or specialist to fill out the second section of the documentation. Once this is completed, we send the documentation off to the NDIS on your behalf. This process can take about 2 weeks although depending on doctors’ availability, it may take longer. After submitting the forms to the NDIS, it can take up to 6 months to hear back.
What happens if NDIS rejects me?
This unfortunately can happen if we don’t supply enough supporting evidence to NDIS. Through our experience, we have a good idea of the documentation required which means we can help ensure we work to the best of our ability to have the correct documentation. However, if your original application is rejected, we will obtain more supporting documents to send off again.
What happens if my GP doesn't sign the supporting documentation?
We can assist you to find a GP that will help support your needs. We have a list of amazing GPs that we would closely with to help our client!
